The IMC Programming Contest is a new two stage individual programming contest we are running in 2025. The qualifying round will be a three hour contest held on February 15, 2025, at various sites around Australia and New Zealand, and the finals will be held on May 11, 2025 at the IMC Sydney office.
The contest is a three hour individual programming contest. Participants will be required to solve ICPC style algorithmic problems using C, C++, Java and Python, using only standard libraries and no other support.
The preliminary contest will be held at various invigilated sites around Australia and New Zealand. Top performing competitors will receive a T-shirt and the top 20 competitors will be invited to the final in Sydney, where they will compete for cash prizes.
Travel and accomodation will be provided to finalists, thanks to the generous sponsorship from IMC.
